DUFFY’S – Curtains, Blinds & Home is a family run business that was established in 1918 by Thomas B Duffy from our store at 27 North Earl Street, Dublin 1.

Over the last 100 years, the Company has established itself as a leading retailer and service provider of home furnishings, with a particular focus on custom made curtains and blinds for the home. We offer a full measure, make and fit service for custom made curtains and blinds in the greater Dublin area, with all our custom made curtains made in Ireland. We specialise in 6″ Triple French Pleat, Double Pinch Pleat, Wave and Tailored Pleat curtains. There are 1000s of fabrics available from our store.

Went into the store to get custom curtains, staff members offered me clear advice on fabrics and who to contact to get measurements done. Every staff member of the team is extremely friendly and helpful! Installation went smoothly with efficiency, the curtains and veils look amazing! Tom even made sure the curtain folds were neatly and perfectly stacked before leaving! I was completely clueless before I went in the store and got 10/10 service and fantastic curtains, would 100% recommend XD

I would highly recommend Duffys, their service and product was excellent, second to none. I placed the order at 12:30pm on a Tuesday and the parcel was delivered before 8am on the Wednesday morning by AnPost. Unbelievable! I am happy with my purchase at Duffy curtains. I needed curtains quickly but was told that the turn around time would normally be around 6 to 8 weeks. However, Duffy suggested that if I chose a material and colour that was available in their retail outlet, they would be able to complete the curtains sooner. I had mine hung up nicely in 3-4 weeks. Had Tom and the team out recently to fit a full house of blinds, with some non standard windows and sizes. Tom and the team were top class from start to finish, from Tom coming to measure, to the installation, to the office/store team arranging everything in the background! I decided to order three blackout roller blinds for my property, thinking it would be better to hire an expert than to order and install them myself. I informed the installer that the purpose of the blinds was to block out light completely and asked him to install them within the window recess. However, once installed, I quickly noticed gaps above and on the sides that allowed light to seep through. I already had vertical blinds behind, so I needed these roller blinds to fully cover the gaps.

After the installation, I realized that the roller blinds should have been installed outside the window recess to better cover the gaps. However, the person who took the measurements never suggested this option. When you hire an "expert," you expect them to guide you and help you choose the best product, but this wasn't the case. They require payment in advance, and now I have roller blinds that do not serve their intended purpose and have wasted away my money.

The shop will not refund or exchange curtains that have been taken out of their package….
How are you supposed to know whether the curtains will suit Your room if you don’t hang them up first??

OMG! Tom and his group at Duffy's went above and beyond with our order! We missed the opportunity to stop at Duffy's while in Dublin and placed our order with him when we got back to the states. We've bought material and had curtains made by Duffy's over a number of years for bedrooms and just recently, the dining and sitting rooms.
The service we received was impeccable and the quality of the work was 1st class. They provide an end to end service from measurement to making to fitting which is excellent throughout.

Due to Covid 19 this years trip has been postponed so I ordered online. I just received my order of sheers for my livingroom from Duffy's Curtains and I couldn't be more happier. Landed in on the poor girl on a Friday afternoon at 4.30pm(a lovely woman with long straight black hair!) And she was dealing with a tricky customer on the phone and she went out of her way to help her and made us feel totally welcome. This must be one of the most pleasant places to shop in Dublin. The staff are so helpful. We bought a blind there just over two years ago and went back recently because of a problem we had with getting the blind to work properly after refitting it because of new windows. They couldn't have been more accommodating. Genuine customer service.There are few of these kind of places left so treasure it and, more importantly, shop there! Just got my new curtains fitted today around the house. Duffy's Curtains were very helpful from start to finish. Very good range to choose from. I would definitely recommend.
